Many different factors led Dalia to her decision to become a massage therapist. Over the course of many years as a gymnast she sustained various injuries which required physical therapy and massage to rehabilitate. The healing effects of such massages were undeniable. She wanted to understand exactly how and why it helped. With a desire to help those around her she began her training as a massage therapist, graduating from the New York College of Health Professions. She continued to expand her knowledge in the healing therapies by completing her Masters in the field of Oriental Medicine. Now she is fully licensed in both acupuncture and massage, and looks forward to help anyone who comes her way.
After 6 years as a social worker, Julie broadened her passion for helping people by expanding into the healing arts. She studied at the Swedish Institute in Manhattan, where she graduated in December of 2008. She is now a licensed massage therapist and a member of the The American Massage Therapy Association. Julie approaches massage with a healing intention, adjusting techniques and modalities to the specific needs of her clients. She practices therapeutic relaxation massage, deep tissue, Swedish and shiatsu. Julie truly enjoys her work in the healing arts and it shows in her results.
