Sangeeta - Sanskrit for one with music, a system of sound as a spiritual and healing force, rhythmic vibrations that pull into synchronicity. Inspired by her given name, Sangeeta silently seduces the sound within. Tapping into the deep chambers of change, Sangeeta moves you through a musical expression of mood, emotion and thought.
An early understanding of global compassion gave Sangeeta insight to the blending of the world’s melting cultural pot. A strong belief in a unified uplifting expression that breathes all is one is what gives root to her classes. Devoted to this song of one, her classes are filled with good vibrations.
Sangeeta has been practicing asana for over twelve years and teaching since 2003. She graduated from the Jivamukti teacher training program in spring of 2007 and received her advanced certification in January 2009. She would like to thank her parents, her foremost teachers, and all teachers of the past and present, especially David Life, Sharon Gannon, Kristina Pao Cheng and Uma Nanda Saraswati.
Get your soul on as you listen to your inner rhythm and feel the harmony of all beating hearts. Merge as one. And note your own house of music rock solid.
